The Zoo is open YEAR ROUND!

9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. daily

Closed only on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Day.




 Admission
 

Admission is only $5 per person!
Parking is always free!
 
Kansas City, Mo residents receive complimentary admission through November 30, 2009 with valid ID and proof of residency.

Group rates are available for parties of 20+.




Purchase a Friends of the Zoo (FOTZ) Membership and Save!

The most affordable family fun in Kansas City! 
Only $75 for a family membership. Pays for itself in two visits!







 Rides and Transportation

See the Zoo in a new way. Take a tram or train ride. Go for a spin on the Carousel. There are lots of fun and unique ride and transportion options available.

Strollers, Wagons, Wheelchairs and Electric Convenience Vehicles (ECV)

For your comfort and convenience, rentals can be made at Guest Relations.  All are available on a first come basis.

· Wagon $7
· Double Stroller $7
· Wheelchair $6
· Electric Convenience Vehicle (ECV) $20

The Kansas City Zoo is located in the heart of historic Swope Park at 6800 Zoo Drive, Kansas City, Missouri 64132. Click here for a directional map to the Zoo.

Just off I-435 and US-71 highway, the Zoo is easily accessible from any part
of the Kansas City metropolitan area.

Parking is free and available in the new Mane parking lot or adjacent
Zebra and Cheetah parking lots.
