Company Picnic "The KC Zoo hosted KCP&L’s Employee Appreciation Event in September 2012. Melissa Pepper’s expertise in event planning was invaluable! The physical facilities for our picnic lunch were spacious enough to accommodate our 3,000+ employees and their family members. The zoo staff were so knowledgeable and helpful throughout the day, making our employees feel "right at home." Many of our employees e-mailed us after our event expressing how much they enjoyed our event and asking that we do it again next year." --- Rebecca Worley, KCPL Employee Event Organizer
Rehearsal Dinner "Our son’s rehearsal dinner at the Polar Bear Exhibit was incredible. The staff was wonderful and even let us visit as many times as we needed to make sure the event went off without a hitch. The guests enjoyed the celebration and the keeper talk with Nikita was a big splash. Thanks for a perfect evening."--- Fred & Marian Light
Holiday Party "Livers Bronze Co has held our Christmas Employee party at the KC Zoo for several years. Your team has always done a great job accommodating our needs for the dates, Audio Visual, food and bar functions. It all started with a below average turnout and always a few no-shows to the event we had this year! We had nearly full turnout and everyone made it.
The friendly staff at the Zoo is hard to beat and this year was no exception—we feel like this is almost home to us and so do our employees. It is really a great space and totally fits our requirements. Thanks again for all the work done to set this up an allow us to pull off another celebration."--- Deuce Livers, Livers Bronze Co.
