Giving Plaques

Purchasing an animal plaque is a thoughtful way to permanently honor the memory of a loved one, commemorate a special occasion, or proclaim your family’s love of the Zoo, while also helping to feed and care for our animals. Each purchase will include placement of a plaque in the appropriate area at the Zoo with your choice of inscription engraved on it. Most plaques are offered in a variety of sizes so there's one that will be the perfect fit for your celebration.

Stingray Plaque

Ray Boosters are located to the north of the Stingray Bay area. Plaques are available in three stingray sizes. Each plaque includes up to three lines of text and is limited to 20 characters per line including spaces and punctuation. Minimum $100 donation.

Polar Bear Plaque

Polar Bear Pals are located across from Polar Bear passage viewing area. Plaques are available in three sizes. Each plaque includes up to three lines of text and is limited to 20 characters per line including spaces and punctuation. Minimum $100 donation.

Tropical Toucan Plaque

Located in the foyer of the Tropics building, the zoo’s original and longest-standing structure. Toucan plaques are available in silver and gold. Each plaque includes up to three lines of text and is limited to 20 characters per line including spaces and punctuation. Minimum $100 donation.

Penguin Plaque

Penguin Patron Pal plaques are located at the Penguin building exit. Penguin Pals are available in three sizes. Each plaque includes up to three lines of text and is limited to 20 characters per line including spaces and punctuation. Minimum $100 donation.

Orangutan Plaque

The Giving Tree is located opposite of the Orangutan viewing platform. The three sizes represent the species of trees found in the orangutan's natural habitat. Each plaque includes up to three lines of text and is limited to 20 characters per line including spaces and punctuation. Minimum $100 donation.
