We are excited to be expanding our When Science Attacks program to include a high school level course! This level will include more advanced research projects, in-depth group discussions of ecological issues and investigations of scientific phenomena. This course may also include special Zoo experiences, interaction with special guest speakers, and provide coaching and resources for career readiness, especially in fields related to conservation, STEAM, and animal care.

Please Note: In accordance with CDC recommendations and ordinances set in place by the Mayor of Kansas City, MO, all program staff and participants will be required to wear a face mask covering over the mouth and nose at all times, except when eating or drinking, or when outdoors and physically distanced from one another. This policy is for all program participants, regardless of age. We will continue to monitor the Kansas City Mayor’s policies as well as the CDC’s guidelines for children and make updates as appropriate.
