For fundraising events, such as an auction or prize. Donation packages include four tickets (a $100 value).
Group Ticket Donation Requests
The Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium provides thousands of free tickets each year to charitable organizations in and around Kansas City. Requests are evaluated based on need and value to the community. We release a limited number of tickets three times per year. Below are the three donation periods.
First Donation Period: January 2nd – March 1st
Applications will not be reviewed until the donation period closes on March 1st.
Applicants notified by March 31st
Second Donation Period: March 2nd – June 1st
Applications will not be reviewed until the donation period closes on June 1st.
Applicants notified by June 30th
Third Donation Period: June 2nd – August 1st
Applications will not be reviewed until the donation period closes on August 1st.
Applicants notified by August 31st
Applications will not be considered outside of these donation periods.
Please note our application guidelines:
Requests that do not qualify for Group Donation Tickets:
- Tickets for fundraisers, auctions, prizes, or giveaways (Click here for Fundraising ticket request)
- School, Daycare, Camp, or Church field trips (contact Group Sales [email protected]
- Staff outings or attendance retention gifts
- Completing a request does not guarantee approval, nor the number of tickets requested.
- Organizations may submit applications in all three donation periods
- Only one application will be considered per organization per donation period. Please provide one point of contact per organization to submit applications
- New applicants will receive priority over organizations that have already received donated tickets in the current year.
- Donation tickets have an expiration date of Dec. 31 of the current year.
