Buddy the Elf at the Zoo

Get ready to spread some holiday cheer! On Saturday, December 13, A Buddy the Elf look-alike will be making special appearances around the Zoo from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Keep your eyes peeled—he might be exploring the habitats, greeting guests, and sharing his favorite festive tips (like the four main food groups: candy, candy canes, candy corns, and syrup!)

Can’t catch him during the day? Don’t worry! Buddy will also be lighting up the night at GloWild from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM. It’s the perfect chance to snap a photo, share a laugh, and enjoy the dazzling holiday lights.

Come join us for a day (and night!) full of fun, laughter, and holiday magic at the Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium!

Buddy’s Zoo Adventure Schedule
Buddy will be spreading cheer at these spots throughout the day, but remember—he needs a little time to travel between locations (and maybe sample some syrup along the way!)

• 1:00–2:00 PM – Near Polar Bear Passage
• 2:00–3:00 PM – Near Helzberg Penguin Plaza
• 3:00–4:00 PM – Near Sobela Ocean Aquarium

Catch him if you can, and don’t forget to wave as he dashes through the Zoo to his next stop!
