GloWild: Time Traveler presented by Saint Luke's is set to dazzle at the Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium once again this fall, featuring a brand-new theme. In its fourth year, this unique and immersive nighttime experience allows guests to adventure through massive, handcrafted artworks on display at the Zoo. This year’s event features a journey through time to nineteenth-century Paris, the American centennial, a sci-fi-themed trip to the future, and much more! The festival, in collaboration with LEKTRIK ART, promises a mile-long spectacle of intricate lighted sculptures.
Crafted by more than 150 artisans using over 34 tons of steel and 89,000 feet of fabric, the displays are along a one-way path filled with photo ops, concessions, and entertainment. Special features this year include access to Sobela Ocean Aquarium on Wednesdays and seasonal-themed lanterns.

What To Expect
GloWild opens at 6 pm and the lantern paths will be available at that time. We estimate it will take you about 60 minutes to complete the route. GloWild is closed most Mondays and Tuesdays. Be sure to check the operating calendar for the full schedule!
Enjoy FREE family fun! There will be fun family activities to enjoy 6-9 pm, all free with GloWild admission!
◦ Take a tractor-drawn hayride that leaves from World Gate Station. (NEW this year: see fall lanterns from the hayride!)
◦ Apple Festival and fall activities at the gazebo inside the front gate.
◦ Kids can decorate a mini pumpkin at World Gate Station.
◦ Ride the Endangered Species Carousel.
◦ Activities will change in November as we switch from fall fun to Christmas/winter theming!
Take in a show! A musical dance show, Time Flies, will take place behind Sea Lion Splash at 6:30, 7:15, 8:00, and 8:45 pm.
Flying Flamingo will be open for an extra fee. This new zipline experience is $8 per ride.
