FOTZ Annual Meeting

Friends of the Zoo (FOTZ) members are invited to join us at the Annual Board Meeting on Wednesday, October 23, at 4:30 pm in the Beastro Lobby Auditorium.  At the meeting, outgoing board members will be recognized and nominees will be voted onto the board. We will also welcome guest speaker Jacob Stack, an advanced animal care specialist with the KCZoo and a member of the Savannah team who tends to the giraffe herd and other African animals. Jacob recently traveled to Kenya, where he delivered resources to one of the Zoo’s conservation partners, Save Giraffes Now, and assisted the program with its efforts to protect giraffes from being struck by vehicles on roadways. Come and hear more from Jacob about this important conservation program!
