Get ready for an enchanting adventure at GloWild: Legends & Lore presented by Saint Luke's —the mesmerizing lantern festival returning to the Kansas City Zoo and Aquarium this fall. As an Experience member, you can secure up to four tickets. These tickets are valid for any GloWild operating date until December 29, 2024. Act fast—ticket availability is limited

Join us on a private excursion to Africa to meet some of our animal ambassadors! Your journey will begin at the front entrance where you'll meet to travel by golf cart to our African-themed encounter room. You'll get an up close and personal visit with some African animals. No worries, these are the small, friendly sort who participate in our animal shows. Also, meet the animal care specialists that work with them every day. Afterwards, your golf cart tour will end back where you started.

Get up-close with some of our Animal Ambassadors. Learn from our Animal Care Team on what it takes to care for and train some of our most charismatic feathered and furred friends.

Ready to meet the orginal slowpokes? Get your shell-fie game on and hang out with our tortoise friends! Get an upclose look at their ancient shells and laid-back attitudes. It's a tortoise encounter you won't want to rush!

G’Day Mates! Get crackin’ early for an Australian-themed adventure with the Zoo’s kangaroos!  Join others and watch as our mob bounds onto their expansive exhibit to start the day and learn about the Australian animals that call KCZoo home. This is a memorable experience few have had the pleasure to witness!

This exclusive behind-the-scenes look at our Veterinary Health department will give you an insider’s view at all that goes into the care of our animals. From radiology to lab work, the many aspects of veterinary care will be explored during this tour. Meet some of our incredible team and learn what it’s like to care for elephants, lions, and penguins!

Get up close with the Zoo’s camels as you learn all about these desert dwellers' amazing features. You will even have the opportunity to feed our one-humped friends some of their favorite treats.

Hang with Arnie, the laid-back two-toed sloth. During this experience, you'll have the rare opportunity to enter Arnie's habitat and get up close and personal with our laid-back friend.. As you learn about Arnie's daily routine and quirky habits, you'll quickly fall in love with this slow-moving personality.
