Summer Nights at the Zoo

Beat the heat and make the most of your evenings at the Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium during Summer Nights at the Zoo! Join us on Wednesday, August 5, and Wednesday, August 12, for extended Zoo hours until 8 pm. The Zoo opens at 9:30 am, so you can come and play all day, or get special twilight pricing after 2 pm at just$21 for adults and$18for children (available in person only).

• FOTZ members, bring your friends forFREE! Get two free guests with Individual memberships and four free guests with Family memberships, available only on August 5 and August 12.
• Jackson and Clay residents, bring your August Postcard to Adventure forFREEadmission all day long! 

All of the Zoo will be open until 4 pm, then from 4-8 pm, visit your favorite animals throughout Zoo Central, including Sobela Ocean Aquarium, Helzberg Penguin Plaza, Discovery Barn, and more! Plus, during those extended hours, you can enjoy these specials:

• Enjoy $1hot dogs and canned soft drinks at the Tropics Event Pavilion, or grab your favorites from Beastro Café, Tuxedo Grill, and Dippin' Dots locations, all open during the event. 
• Check out the Splash Zone near Helzberg Penguin Plaza with water fun for the kids. Swimsuits allowed, but shoes are required (shirts also required for adults). KCZoo Railroad, Endangered Species Carousel, Flying Flamingo, will also be open at regular pricing or free with FOTZ Premier memberships. The Safari Slide will be free for all  in the Splash Zone!
